Marilyn trained as a secretary and worked as a PA before training in various therapies and worked as staff therapist for Harrods, M&S, John Lewis and Bentalls. For a few years they also ran a successful 4* B & B at home until this was turned into a self-contained flat for Marilyn's mum, who has been with living in the flat for five years and is now 90 years old. Marilyn has become the chief painter and decorator in at home.

 

Marilyn is married to Peter, also a member of the Reference Group. They have four lovely grandsons and a rather hectic life, but it is fun and keeps them both fully occupied.
